When not on the front line of That Swing Sensation, saxophonists Bill Shaw
and Jon Ritchie can be found performing with providing classics, light jazz and easy listening
music at weddings, receptions and events around Scotland.
This April they return to Glasgow's Kibble Palace for the first performance
in their latest recital series - Sax Appeal.
Entry to the events is free but they are hoping to raise money for charity
by asking for donations on the night, hence the "appeal" part of the
title - yes, we know it's an awful pun but we just couldn't resist it :-)
Each event will feature a separate programme from the quartet's extensive
repertoire of classics, light jazz, ragtime and easy listening music
featuring everything from Mozart to Mancini. So, if you want to enjoy some Bach by the Bougainvillea
or Joplin by the Japonica, or would like to find out more about our featured charities, we'd love to see you there.
