Swing Sensation gets Glasgow Dancing with the Largest Tea Dance in the World - It's Official!
Well done the dancers!!
On Sunday 12 September 2010 That Swing Sensation were delighted to once again help Glasgow dance its way into the record books.
A grand total of 612 dedicated dancers from all over the country took to the "floor" in Glasgow's George Square and, under the expert eye of Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief at Guinness World Records, and the team of adjudicators, regained the title for the World's Largest Tea Dance. The strictly sensational event was organised by The Evening Times in association with Glasgow Life and Glasgow Housing Association.
