This summer, Jon Ritchie's Swing Sensation once again
join with hundreds of performers from all over Britain in
the impressive military fortification of Fort George to take part in Historic
Scotland’s
largest event of 2011 The Colossal Celebration of the Centuries.
With demonstrations and re-enactors covering various periods of Scottish history from 2nd century Romans to World War II paratroopers the weekend is guaranteed to live up to its name.
Swing Sensation's contribution to the event will be in the World War II
zone where they and The
Swing Doctors, will have the crowds jumpin' and jivin' between
sessions where you can explore the impressive displays of vehicles, weapons
and demonstrations explaining more about the way of life "back home" during
the war years.

That Swing Sensation are a group of Scottish musicians
who play big band, swing, jazz and trad music.
From jazzy duets up to the 15 piece big band they perform live music at events, festivals and functions in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayr, Stirling and throughout central Scotland.
