Ayr Garden Party goes with a Swing

Entertainers from all round the West of Scotland gave their time and talents on Sunday 30 August to help raise money for the Ayrshire Hospice as The Brig o’Doon House Hotel, Alloway was once again the generous host for the annual fundraising garden Party for the Ayrshire Hospice.

As well as Swing music from That Swing Sensation, the jam-packed programme included apparances by Jim Hutcheon's Ceilidh Band, Frank Welshman Country Sound, Dalmellington Band, Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra, Highland Dancers, Simon Atkinson & the Ben Marcato Trio, The Ayrshire Clarinet Choir, Bakerloo Line, Magic Malky and big band favourite's in the ballroom from Dave Anderson's Band.

Thanks to the generosity of the visitors and performers latest reports are that the event will have raised over £5,500 for this worthy cause.
