To
start off the new year, the lovely June Love and the big band hits the
road with a trip to the West Coast for a Charity Big Band night in aid
of the Ayrshire Hospice in The
Gaiety Theatre, Ayr.
Along with June and the big band, the show will feature
George Rodger's Gypsy Jazz Quintet, The John Meecham Dancers, and Ayrshire's
youngest big band, The South Ayrshire Jazz Band who will be doing their
"swing thing".
So, why not shake off those winter blues and
join us for a night of Big Band classics and Gypsy Jazz.
The Gaiety Theatre
Built in 1902, the Gaiety Theatre is one of Scotland’s performing arts treasures and is noted for its listed interior rococo features, its wonderful atmosphere and its magnificent acoustics. Open throughout the year, the Gaiety is famed for variety and offers something to suit all tastes.
